A WPF desktop product providing a unified interface for machining-anomaly and tool-wear modeling services.
Highlights
- Developed a WPF/MVVM application integrating two team-provided modeling services through a unified interface.
- Implemented service lifecycle management, asynchronous operations, and interactive analysis charts.
- Integrated Sentinel LDK SDK licensing and delivered the installer and user documentation.
Purpose
- Bring two existing modeling services with different parameters and analysis steps into a consistent desktop workflow.
- Provide clear service status, analysis feedback, and licensed feature access for end users.
Implementation
- Built shared navigation, settings, parameter entry, file operations, and result views using WPF and MVVM.
- Encapsulated model-service startup, health checks, busy states, HTTP requests, shutdown, and resource cleanup.
- Used background tasks, cancellation, and operation locking to coordinate long-running analysis with UI state.
- Integrated ScottPlot for control-limit trends and feature-importance charts.
- Integrated Sentinel LDK SDK to check feature permissions and handle hardware-key removal and reinsertion.
Delivery
- Completed the desktop integration application, installer, and operating documentation.
- Integrated team-developed modeling products and APIs; their underlying algorithms were not my work.
- Implemented the licensing SDK integration; hardware-key programming was handled by another team member.
